Star Business (Star): We are working to solve social and local issues using information and communication technology (ICT). In particular, we are promoting the social implementation of cutting-edge technologies that support a data-driven society, such as the "All Photonics Network (APN)", and are developing usage scenarios for IOWN APN so that people around the world can experience IOWN at events such as the 2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo. These efforts have the potential to become "star businesses" that create new value and drive corporate growth.
Problem Child Business (Problem Child): INS Net will stop accepting new applications in August 2024 and plans to end the service in December 2028. This may be a measure to respond to changes in the market or advances in technology, but it may result in a temporary decline in profitability and therefore may qualify as a "problem business."
